Privacy & data protection

This notice applies to everyone. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the GDPR section applies to you. If you are in the United States, the US section sets out your rights under state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA.

Who is responsible

Pletratech (Pletra Technologies) is the data controller — or, under US law, the business — for the information you submit. Brussels, Belgium, with offices in Paramus, NJ (USA) and Pune (India). Questions about your data: privacy@pletratech.com.

What we collect

  • You give us: name, work email, company, phone (if entered), the ERP you run, your turnover band (if entered), the areas you selected and anything you typed in the message box.
  • Collected automatically: your IP address and the date and time you submitted, kept as proof of consent and to prevent abuse.

We ask for business contact details only. Please do not include sensitive personal data, customer records or commercially confidential material in the message box.

Why we use it, and on what basis

  • To answer your request and arrange a demo — your consent, given by accepting this notice, and our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry.
  • To follow up about this enquiry — legitimate interest in business-to-business communication. You can tell us to stop at any time.
  • To keep a record that you consented — our legal obligation to demonstrate a valid basis for processing.

We will not add you to a marketing list or send you unrelated material unless you separately ask us to.

Who sees it

Our sales and delivery team, our email and hosting providers acting on our instructions under written agreements, and anyone we are legally required to disclose to. Nobody else.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising or targeted advertising. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months.

Where it goes

Our platform is hosted in the European Union. Because we also operate in the USA and India, your details may be accessed by colleagues in those countries. Those transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.

How long we keep it

Twenty-four months from your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or we enter a commercial relationship — in which case our contractual retention terms apply. Consent records are kept for as long as needed to evidence the consent.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland — GDPR

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

To exercise any of these, email privacy@pletratech.com. We respond within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority — in Belgium, the Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels.

If you are in the United States

Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you and why, to request a copy of it, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to opt out of sale or sharing — though as stated above, we do not sell or share personal information.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. To make a request, email privacy@pletratech.com. We will verify your identity by replying to the email address you submitted, and we respond within 45 days.

Categories collected, in CCPA terms: identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address), commercial information (the ERP you run, turnover band, stated interests) and professional information (company, role). We collect these directly from you.

Automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone, and we do not profile you.
